Revealing God's Character Through a Growing Relationship with Jesus

Children's Ministries

Welcome Back!

We have been working to prepare and safe and happy environment for church kids and families, members and visitors alike. Please see the information below about the procedures we are following to keep our students, parents, and teachers safe:

COVID Procedures:

Here are some things that we need to follow now that we’re back at the church facility:

  • Masks must be worn by teachers and students at all times (except in Beginners, where masks will be worn by the teacher and parents, but masks on the children is optional). We will have extra masks available.
  • Children will be spaced 6 feet apart during Bible Study.
  • We will not be serving any snacks in Juniors or Kindergarten/Primary.
  • Children and teachers should wash or sanitize their hands before and after Bible Study. Hand sanitizer will be available in all the rooms.
  • All students need to be picked up from Bible Study by their parents. We will not be able to dismiss them on their own to find you, so please pick them up promptly after Bible Study is over.
  • In Beginners, a parent must stay with their child through the whole Bible Study time. No parent will be able to drop their child off, since we need a parent to help them maintain social distancing
  • All kids will meet in the Beginner’s room for the start of Bible Study at 10:00 a.m. for singing (with masks on), and then will separate into their own rooms at 10:10 a.m.

Please note, there will be no Bible Study on September 19th, as we will be doing a Communion service instead. Bible Study will resume on September 26th.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Angie and Roseane, Children’s Ministry Team

Beginners

This class is filled with developmentally appropriate stories and activities about how much Jesus loves us, and how much we can love Him. We encourage you to arrive early so your child can enjoy the program. It’s also a great place for you as parents to build relationships with fellow parents, and create a supportive and safe environment.

Elementary

This class for elementary aged children (preschool through age 9) follow a small group/large group/small group format. Using Through The Gospel Project® for Kids curriculum, children learn that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption. Using an interactive mix of activities, Bible story videos and discussion, children hear the gospel presented every week. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel.
