Dear Church Family,
I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you. I have said it since I first started here in Monroe, that “I have the best church ever!” And I mean it. You all have been so so good to our family. Thank you for all the love you have poured on us the past few months. The prayers, the texts, the phone calls, the food, the gifts and your presence have meant the world to every single one of our family. Thank you for lifting our Sydney up to the throne of our loving heavenly Father. I will one day know the power of those prayers in their entirety, but for now I will be grateful for what I can see, hear and know.
I also want to say thank you for supporting Sky on her mission trip to the Philippines. She was able to raise all her money, and now will lean in on your prayers as she travels a long way to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Sky too has appreciated your prayers for her during her senior year, as this season of our lives has been very hard on her as well.
Thank you again my friends, I look forward to continuing on this journey of love, hope, and peace with each of you. And though you may be thinking, “it hasn’t been all love, hope, and peace!” it really has been, because remember those things are not feelings or circumstances. Those are a person, Jesus Christ.
